Hap Ethical Goals
Everyone needs a little håp
The translation of håp from Norwegian to English is simply "hope", we thought long and hard during recent global events about creating a new way of offering on trend fashion with an ethical goal.
You can now shop knowing that all of our garments are Fairwear & PETA vegan approved, made with 100% Organic cotton or mixed with recycled polyester. All of the factories in our supply chain are independently audited to ensure that workers rights are adhered to.

Here at håp we are committed where possible to using 100% organic cotton or salvaged/recycled materials. Working with our supply chain we aim to bring affordable eco-friendly fashion to the marketplace. All of our t-shirts are 100% organic cotton produced in a FAIRWEAR factory, meaning the staff that work there are paid a fair wage for their service. The factory is independently audited each year to ensure the FAIRWEAR standards are met.
We only use water based inks in our garments and the process has achieved the highest standard of accreditation :
"the OEKO-Tex® accreditation of Class-I, which is the most demanding (and harder to achieve) certificate and covers eco friendly textiles (direct contact with the skin) for babies and small children up to the age of three."
This means our t-shirts and sweaters/hoodies are vegan friendly.
Where some of our supply chain are unable to supply items that follow this criteria, we donate 10% of the profits of sales on those items to our chosen charity. The charities change every year and the items that contribute to those funds are marked in their product description.

OCEAN FRIENDLY
We have taken every step possible to try and reduce the impact our brand has on the environment. We have managed to source a plastic free garment bag that is bio-degradable and ocean friendly. Using this packaging we then vacuum seal the clothing which shrinks the size of the parcel, taking up less space in the delivery vehicles and therefore reducing the carbon footprint of the delivery.
"After months of extensive trials, we have developed Eco Pouch – a sustainable and eco-friendly alternative to traditional plastic-based vacuum packaging
We experimented with a vast number of raw materials and substrates before the formula for Eco Pouch was found. The final product is a balance between a pouch that has the qualities required of a vacuum pouch (burst pressure, clarity, strength and durability), and a pouch that is friendlier to our environment."
Manufactured on-site in our purpose-built UK factory under AA accredited BRC conditions.
The final part of the packaging the shipping bags are fully compostable and heat sealed (meaning no glue and peel off plastic strip) before being sent out to you.
